Brain drain attempt 755,000. Result? FAILURE
2003-11-05/12:14 a.m.
Well I hath returned again. This time I'm not avoiding homework that is due tomorrow. Well I guess I kind of am because I have math due tomorrow but I also have a 7 hour break tomorrow because my second class of the day was cancelled due to the lovely test I had today. **pukes disgusting green gross ness** It wasn't as bad as it could have been. I mean we could have gotten really terrible questions. The way these tests work for CORE is that the professors make up 6 essay questions relating to lecture and seminar and we have somewhere between a weekend and a week to figure them out. Well yesterday my seminar teacher decided that she was going to explain how she intrepreted the questions. It was different than how I did or how some of the people in our class did, so we had to do new outlines and stuff to study from (b/c we aren't allowed outlines for the test). Well these are generally not easy. I mean I was excited because we had a question about the crises of the fourtheenth and fifteenth centuries signalling the end of medieval civilization. I mean this was not easy in any sense of the word, but it was basically the easiest out of the choices.

Then they roll a die in order to decide which 3 questions we answer in the allotted time of 75 minutes. This normally would not faze me but my professor is such a freak about what she wants to see in these essays that she throws me in giant circles. Whatever. Thankfully it's over until i think my final. We may have one more test before that, but I don't think so.

I'm really not sure what more there is for me to say. I like sharing my birthday cake with people. That makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I also had a generally good day with the exception of the test and finding out that I have to play the picc in a week and a half. My english teacher thinks I rule in my analysis of a 800 year old document. Let's just hope that he doesn't make us write on it because I don't know how to do that.

I think that's all for now. I love you all. Miss you tons.

Nobody on the road

nobody on the beach

I feel it in the air

the summer's out of reach

Empty lake,

empty streets

the sun goes down alone

I'm drivin' by your house

Though I know you're not home

But I can see you-

Your brown skin shinin' in the sun

You got your hair combed back and your

sunglasses on, baby

And I can tell you my love for you

will still be strong after the boys of

summer have gone

I never will forget those nights

I wonder if it was a dream

Remember how you made me crazy?

Remember how I made you scream?

Now I don't understand what's happened

to our love,

But baby when I get you back

I'm gonna show you what I'm made of

I can see you-

Your brown skin shinin' in the sun

I see you walkin' real slow and you're smilin' at everyone
