| 2003-11-03/12:31 a.m. Well Katy should be working on her CORE questions. But alas, Katy isn't. Instead I am here at my diary writing an update. So much to say, and yet I don't know how much will actually be said. Let's recap this past weekend. Friday: Halloween! I worked. It was interesting. I was really hoping that my administator wouldn't show up. Because then I wouldn't have to work and all would be well. But alas he did and we worked until 3:45. Now this would be all good if I wasn't supposed to get out of work at 3:00. But I met some cool people. I drove Carson, Brad B and Mike Z (from the Wood) to one of their parties. Later when I saw Carson again he promised me that on my birthday he was going to get me drunk and high. Needless to say that my answer if he wanted me to go out with him was that he'd have to come find me first. Which from what I can tell he didn't. Then finally we got done and I came back and crashed until... My mom called at like 9:45. I love my mother to death and I'm glad that she didn't decide to actually sing to me over the phone, but who makes a phone call that early? Anyway, I managed to go to back to sleep until 11, which is when I thought that mail would be there. So I went downstairs found out that package pickup wasn't until 12. So logically I went back upstairs and went back to sleep until like 1. So when I was finally awake I did the whole shower and eat thing. And then I vegged. I was actually planning on doing some of my CORE stuff, but I realized... it's my BIRTHDAY! I'm not about to do homework on my Birthday. So I put up an away message, turned on some music and just read part of The Dante Club. It's a really interesting book. I hope to finish it at some point this year. But I really don't have that much time for random reading. Then Susan and Nicole came over which meant that shortly Emily would be over with my cake. This would have been so much more a surprise if it hadn't all started with Emily and I making cakes for birthdays. But it still awesomely nice and I totally appreciated it. We sat around and BSed until like 6:40 when we decided to go down for some eats. "Happy Birthday Katy, have your 1500th Chicken Wrap". Then I had my hot date to see Hamlet with Shannon. That was an awesome production. The kid who played Laertes was really powerful. I was amazed that he could speak as loudly as he did. Then we came back and ate cake and watched 10 Things I Hate About You. Then I talked to Kenny for a while and then Danielle and Colleen came in. Incidentally, thank you so much for your awesome ideas as to what would make my birthday better, and I totally loved talking to Rach and Lex on my birthday. Laura, excellent idea though. I almost cried when I saw that. So I finally got to sleep at like 3:30 am and then I woke up at Sunday 12 noon. Actually I woke a li'l before noon b/c I promised myself that I would be up before noon. So I started working on homework and watching the bucs game. Then Danielle came in and I talked with her and got her to bring in her homework so we could still talk and get some stuff done. But she feel asleep (as did I for a while) and then I finished a good deal of my reading. I'm pretty impressed with how much I actually got done before I had to go to Ghetto mass. Before we went to rehearsal, Emily, Colleen and I went up to Brian and Joe's to drop off some stuff that I had promised Joe a while back. Your dear friend Katy made a Dennis Kucinich trading card for someone. It's quite funny actually. But we dropped off the card (and cookies) and I also had some of the 2 cakes that we made for me left over so I cut off a huge chunk of one to give to the rest of the boys there. I got to see the penis room with it's 3200 post-it notes. Then we had mass and that was refreshing, only not so much. And I came back here, finished my homework and here I am updating, instead of studying, or sleeping. I guess I should try and do one of those two things. Probably sleeping would be better. I might actually get something accomplished in my sleeping. I love you all, and will have a better update for you soon ~Kates You say it's your birthday It's my birthday too--yeah They say it's your birthday We're gonna have a good time I'm glad it's your birthday Happy birthday to you.
