| 2003-09-07/2:00 p.m. A little randomness never hurt anybody did it? SALLY ALBRIGHT HAS PENGUINS ON HER BED! Well so far this weekend I've watched a movie in my room and then had antisocial time while I talked to my friends from home and my new friend from down here Pat. That was my exciting Friday night. Jealous aren't you? Then yesterday... I watched the OSU game and was secretly rooting for SDSU because I never have liked OSU. I remember talking that if I ever did go to OSU I'd be like the only Michigan fan that the OSU-Michigan game on the OSU side. Then I came up to my room and tried to read Socrates. I've been trying to read Socrates all weekend long. Why do people think that he was such a great guy? He was a little cocky for his own good, so I suppose he deserved what he got. Then I was going down to dinner with a whole bunch of people, but KU was closed. I was talking to my neighbor Emily and telling her that there was this concert I was dying to see and there was this guy I talked to online who didn't have anyone to go with. So with her backing, sort of, I totally told him that I wanted to go. So I went to see Seven Nations with Pat, whom until last night I had never met. Thankfully he's not an axe murderer or a rapist. It was a good show. Kinda short but that's all good. I got off campus and I got to meet this guy. He's really nice. The funny thing is I was talking to him online last night (after the concert) and he thinks I'm quiet. I almost laughed out loud when I read that. So I came back and was invited to go 'smoke a joint and have some beers' by Carson. Aren't I the lucky one? It took everything I had to refuse, but I managed to live through my denial of the poor boy. Though I've probably hurt his ego. I don't think he gets turned down that often. But I think I may have promised him that at a future date I'd go out with him. Whatever, it won't happen. Then we watched another movie. Well Lauren and Dee watched a movie and I played on the comp and tried to read Socrates. Some pretty drunk boys came into my room and it was a funny scene. Then they traveled down the hall to another girl's room and talked to them for a while. I was going down there to talk to them about my encounter with Pat and then I returned to being yelled at by Kenny. I think that may be it. Except I'm back to old Socrates but at least I'm done with reading, now I have to figure out what he thinks is the philosophic way of life. Blah!
