| 2003-06-22/2:57 p.m. 'Regard your good name as the richest jewel you can possibly be possessed of --- for credit is like fire; when once you have kindled it you may easily preserve it, but if you once extinguish it, you will find it an arduous task to rekindle it again. The way to gain a good reputation is to endeavor to be what you desire to appear.' — Socrates Well here I am thinking that I should be making this as superficial as possible, because as your katypeg that's what I do. That kinda makes me sound like a superficial person, but I bet everyone of my friends could tell me that I'm not. Sure I have superficial qualities. I mean who doesn't? Well I suppose that I could tell you about all the fun I had at the graduation parties that I went to. Well it was nice seeing everyone at Leah's house. Everyone being the Warrell twins, Liz L, Stacey M and Sam S, and of course Leah. She's really a sweetheart. We didn't toast the sun though, that made me sad :( Laura's was really cool. All the people i expected to be there were and that was really nice. Laura looked absolutely adorable, and really happy. She was her normal self, and it was really nice to see, because I haven't seen her in a while. I want to grow up to be half as cool as Laura. That would make me a really happy person. After Laura's I went to the Twin's party. This was a huge thing for me because unlike most of my current friends I've been friends with Katie and Liz for very nearly my entire life. It's really funny to hear their mom and grandma talk about us. Their grandma talks about me when I was 3 and going to daycare in the basement of the church during Mass and she would watch me. Her mom said the nicest thing to me yesterday. She looked at me and said "I've never told you how happy I am that you and my daughters got to be friends. There are so many kids who go through PSR and never meet the day school kids. But You guys have done it and it's really nice to see." I was like wow. I'd always thought that Mrs. Moore didn't like me. She always seemed so like she didn't want her girls hanging out with me. Like I wasn't good enough or something. But it was like coming home when she said that last night. I finally felt like I was the kind of kid she wanted her daughters hanging out with. It meant a lot. After their party I helped them tear down for a li'l bit and then I went home. Liz and her Marc came over b/c he didn't want to go to sleep because he had to take his mom to the airport and they had to leave his house at like 3:45 this morning. So he left here at 3:00 and Liz was spending the night. We were gonna stay up all night, but we all know how good I am at stuff like that. :D I'm gonna go and get ready for Peter's party now. I'm sure I'll talk to you all later!
